1860's Rosewood Serpentine Chest of Drawers
A fabulous Rosewood Serpentine/Block Front Graduated Three Drawer Chest of Drawers, plus secret bottom drawer, with beautiful carving detail, circa 1860's. The interior serpertine section of the drawers is quartersawed oak. It appears that the feet have been added at a later date and can be removed if desired. This beautiful rosewood chest was originally from a 22,000 acre Spanish land grant estate in California, along with the rosewood etegere and mahagany dining room table on this website.
