19th C Signed Oil Painting of Angels/Cherubs
A wonderful suite of 19th Century signed oil paintings on canvas of cherubs or angels on clouds, by the European artist Jutzens, in very nice original gilt frames. Jutzens is listed in Davenports Art Reference Guide. One of the paintings, depicts three cherubs on clouds with beautiful garlands of flowers. The other one is of a single cherub holding a red bird.
The paintings measures approximately 12 ¼ X 10 ¼ , and with the frame they measure 18 ¼ X 16 ¼ . One of the frames has two missing carved gesso pieces but can be repaired. The other is one is in very good condition. The paintings have not been cleaned. There are no tears or holes in either painting, and they are in excellent original condition. This would make a significant addition to your art or angel/cherub collection.
